“ I came here for the first time with my husband last Saturday. Miss Flower Hotpot is a really nice, open restaurant located in an unassuming location, tucked behind the Reiwa on Bellaire. Tables are spread out from one another, avoiding the cramped feeling you get from other hotpot spots. The restaurant has a historical, old-Chinese village theme, which makes it an excellent spot for a date night or low-key gathering, with plenty of space to accommodate large parties. Service is good. Orders are placed through individual iPads that are located at each table and are brought out relative fast. There are servers at the door and behind the counter to help guide customers to their seats, explain how to use the iPads, and help out in general. The iPads take away a lot of the frustration in having to flag someone down, however; which is nice. We had a Groupon for a free all-you-can-eat hotpot including two free soup bases for two people. Otherwise, the pricing for AYCE is around $28 a person plus an additional $7 for the soup base, more if you want to do a split pot of two different bases. We decided to add on the all-you-can-drink package for an additional $4 per person, which includes a selection of different teas, soda, and dessert. I wasn't a big fan of the soup base--we ordered their basic chicken soup base. I felt that it tasted like canned chicken noodle soup. However, there is a wide selection of dipping sauces available at the serve-yourself portion of the restaurant. The meat quality was clearly excellent, so that made up for the soup base. The meat was incredibly high quality--super tender and flavorful, not thin to the point where it would break apart in the broth but also not thick or tough. In fact, every ingredient available for order was incredibly high quality. The sauces, drinks, seafood, etc. were of a significantly higher caliber of competitor restaurants. Overall, I enjoyed going to Miss Flower Hotpot. Although it's a tad bit more expensive than other hotpot places, I would easily choose to come back for the environment and food quality. Highly recommend. ”

“ Love this hotpot restaurant! It is all you can eat, all day, everyday for the same price lunch or dinner! Yes, they do charge for their soup base but I can see why...it is rich and very flavorful. For a few more dollars on top of the AYCE price, you can get unlimited non-alcoholic beverages like sodas, teas, and juices plus desserts! The space is quite large and great for small groups or larger ones too, though it'll be a big shared hotpot and not the individual ones some other places offer. The convenience is that you can place orders via the iPad on each table and they'll deliver it to the table. The sauce bar also includes veggies for hot pot and desserts that are included in the price (like their version of the bubble egg waffle and Portuguese egg tarts). We tried a whole lot of meat, seafood, veggies, drinks, and desserts on our visit and there wasn't anything we didn't enjoy. The food comes to the table quickly and the iPad stays on the table so you can always request more. Our favorite soup base was the fish maw...so rich and flavorful. The mala spicy broth was also very good and spicy! When I say spicy, I mean spicy...not for the weak. Great spot for hotpot connoisseurs and those who like AYCE big hotpot! ”

“ Loved the fact that Miss Flower Hotpot is an all you can eat. My partner and I enjoyed the variety of mushrooms, greens, tofu, meats, and noodle. We chose the doubled flavor hotpot base - chicken and pork soup base and the house special beef soup base. Definitely blew my mind when I saw wood ear mushroom, xue er, and beancurd sticks! Would I come back if I were in town again!? Uh YES. Though next time I'll bring my own chopsticks. The chopsticks that were provided I found to be too thick and heavy for my hand. The staff were very attentive, friendly, and helpful. ”

“ The space is very open, airy and spacious, the celling is high, so it airs out the smell of the hot pots very well. All the tables are well spaced out. Overall atmosphere is comfortable, open and quiet. We came on a Saturday for lunch, we were seated right away. We are very impressed by the flavors of the broth, the quality of the meat and freshness of the vegetables. I highly recommend getting the chicken broth, it's so flavorful and creamy, one of the best non-spicy broths I've had. The AYCE price doesn't include the broth, but it does come with a great selection of side dishes you can order (such as spicy potatoes, chicken heart etc.) and they also have some you can just grab (e.g. sesame balls, porridge, chicken wings, snacks, spicy mixed cold dish). I highly recommend add another $3.99 per person for unlimited drinks and dessert options, you can get any soft drinks and iced fruit tea, iced jelly dessert, coconut jelly, rose iced jelly with mini glutinous balls etc.), it's a bargain. If you choose not to add the extra unlimited drinks/dessert, they do offer egg waffles, shaved ice, egg tarts, and all are included with the AYCE price. One of the best hot places in town. You gotta try it. ”

“ Wow, just wow. I wasn't sure what to think about a chicken-broth based hotpot but this just steals the show. "Traditional" hot potters: don't fret, this place still has the classics such as pork bone, spicy mala, vegetarian, etc. How it works (because for some reason I couldn't find it online or in the reviews on pricing and whatnot): Monday through Friday after 4pm & Weekends: 27.99 adults, 14.99 kids (think this is ages 4-10 but unsure), 24.99 seniors Monday through Friday before 4pm: 25.99 adults,12.99 kids, 15.99 vegetarian Note: Broth is an extra charge on TOP of the AYCE prices I just listed above, but it is so worth it and probably encourages sharing with others. Ended up with two flavor soup of chicken + pork bone for 8.99 on top. Once you sit down, this is where the goodness starts. They have their traditional style menu but you essentially order everything through the ipad. Tons of selection of meats, seafood, extras on the ipad. Once you get that going, walk over to the sauce bar and the veggie/tofu bar and grab what you can eat. They have a lot of different options for sauces, sides, and veggies/tofu and continue to replenish. Everything looked great. Waitstaff was extremely attentive and very polite, which was an added bonus here. Meats and dishes came out looking amazing, especially for AYCE. They also have an AYCD (non-alcoholic) option for $3.99 extra per person, which everyone at the table has to get if you get, but it is oh so worth it. Fresh watermelon juice, fresh fruit tea, desserts, etc. are all included in that 3.99. It's a relatively large place with a chill environment, but it can get crowded on weekend nights. Be sure to get there early to snag your table! Definitely my favorite hotpot in the area and worth going to over and over. Quick tips: - There is one singular entrance on Bellaire and it is very easy to miss. It's between the Fufu's complex and the Chase bank - You can join the VIP club aka buy loaded gift cards and receive additional bonus money or a gift on top, depending on the level you select - Come hungry ”

“ A new take on hot pot at my Houston home. The service was super friendly and the meat was fresh and tasty. I also discovered some hot pot items and appetizers not seen elsewhere. The broth and options here are quite one of a kind. We got the split broth with the classic chicken and a mushroom broth (which tastes like the American Cream of Mushroom soup). Pro tip - get the all you can drink. The mango sago and jasmine green milk tea was delicious. It definitely took me from full to about to explode but worth it. ”

“ $31 per person (weekend pricing) for AYCE hotpot that included lamb, beef, fish, plenty of seafood options, and all your favorite veggies/tofu options. I highly recommend giving this place a visit. Their golden chicken soup base is very unique and so tasty. My mom and I loved drinking the soup at the end of the meal when all the flavors of the various hot pot ingredients had been added in. The broth is rich, flavorful and super comforting. Drinks and dessert are an added cost and same with some of the premium hotpot ingredients. We were more than satisfied with the base price. There's plenty of parking around the area and service was fast, efficient and friendly. The waitress did a great job walking us through the rules. There's plenty to do, see and eat around the area. ”

“ I've gotta tell ya, not all hot pots are created equal. At Miss Flower Hotpot 小花娇, the soup bases have been prepared with special ingredients with long hours of cooking. It is located in a tiny strip mall called Greatland Kingdom between Chase Bank and Dun Huang Plaza. Parking is at a premium on weekends. I came here late October as the temperature suddenly stopped by half. The restaurant was unusually busy on a Monday night, as waiter explained. The only reason I came here that day was to order the fish maw soup because all reviews raving about it. Came to find out, they changed format to all you can eat a month ago (September 2023). Ok. Let's have AYCE for $29.99 (Friday to Sunday is $31.99). I only ordered cutup chicken with secret sauce, crystal beef slices and lamb slices. OMG. The portion for each item was huge. I was able to consume them but still got leftover. I felt bad. So, I asked waiter what option do I have if I get takeout. He recommended set menu option, starts from $39.99 for 2. A week later, I came back for exact that. But just me, one solo diner. The waiter brought an empty pot, the cutup chicken, soup base on the side, fresh fish maw on an ice tray and side vegetables on a tree-like rack. Presentation was over the top. Watching him prepared my meal was really worth the money. He explained how long to cook the chicken and what each ingredient was. The soup base is mainly cooked with chicken, pumpkin and carrots, plus other ingredients. That's where the mustard yellow tint came from. The soup itself can be purchased for $12 as takeout. He said many people take it home and boil some noodles for dinner. I might do that one day. But I like mine with fresh meats cooked in. The sauce bar is for both AYCE and set menu customers. But vegetables buffet line is only for AYCE customers. After eating my set menu hotspot, I was already full. I didn't need to get anything else. Of course, I got my leftover noodles and silver ears 银耳 in one tub and leftover soup in another tub. The tablet is a modern tool for ordering. It's bilingual. I kept forgetting to flip to English side because I have difficulties with simplified Chinese characters. I misread an item on my first visit. This restaurant has 2 party rooms, VIP 1 and VIP 2. Be sure to check with the restaurant for minimum purchase and maximum seating. It definitely needs advanced reservation on weekends. Because it meets my Chinatown Crawl UYE requirements, Miss Flower Hotpot will be featured on my future foodie meetup event list. ”

“ Miss Flower hotpot is located at the very next shopping center after Giau. The tables here are large! You have plenty of room for friends and family to enjoy hot pot with plenty of dishes. The servers are accommodating and polite. The chicken soup really hits the soul and taste healthy. The broth is creamy and has the perfect amount of salt. Delicious as is. The meat is quality with an admirable portion to share. 100% recommended! FYI it's open late ”
